The CMAT syllabus is prescribed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is usually quite similar to the syllabus of other management entrance exams. CMAT syllabus 2024 is expected to be on similar grounds as CMAT 2023. It consists of five subjects, namely:

  • Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Language Comprehension
  • General Awareness
  • Innovation & Entrepreneurship

In 2021, the Innovation & Entrepreneurship section was introduced as a fifth and optional section in the CMAT syllabus. However, in 2022, it was made mandatory for all CMAT test takers. Therefore, the CMAT exam syllabus now consists of five subjects. Candidates planning to appear for the CMAT 2024 exam must prepare all the important topics of these five subjects.

Marking Scheme of CMAT 2024

The CMAT exam is a computer-based test, so candidates will be able to see their scorecards immediately after the completion of the exam. However, the percentile score will be released a few weeks after the exam.
