There are two unique parameters to judge whether entering into a course is difficult or not, one of which is the exam difficulty level and the other is the seats offered by the institution for that particular course.
For IPMAT-Indore, the general consensus is that the exam is tougher in comparison to other IPM entrance exams and that the seats offered by the college(150) are almost 1% of the total IPMAT-Indore exam takers(28,000+).
Although the above-mentioned parameters are correlated, the finality of this verdict only depends on the preparedness of the candidate.
Especially for IIM Indore, IPMAT-Indore aspiring candidates need not worry about Class 12 exam scores. Having said that, candidates must have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination.
As an IPM course aspirant, it is advisable to take both the examinations because a lot of factors come into play on the actual examination day, and taking more exams only increases the chances of getting into the course.
The degree(s) awarded upon completion of the IPM course from IIM Indore are Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and Master of Business Administration (MBA).
