The IPM program is specifically designed for students who have graduated from 12th/Higher Secondary or equivalent.

The first three years focus on foundation courses whereas, the last two years comprise the same 15 credits required by the PGDB students at IIM to get their MBA degree. Each term will be of three months and each year will have a total of three terms.

• Candidates should have scored 60% or above in 10th standard/Secondary/SSC Examination and the 12th standard/Higher Secondary/HSC Examination.

Yes, candidates have to apply for the IIM Ranchi IPM application separately via their official website, https://app.iimranchi.ac.in/admission/ipm. 

IIM Ranchi also levies a fee for their application, which is non-refundable. So candidates are expected to be sure of their interest and should have all the relevant documents to fill out the form.

2025-30 will be based on IPMAT 2025 (IIM Indore) exam scores, a personal interview, as well as the academic performance of the candidate in secondary and higher secondary levels. The step-wise weightage for each of the steps is mentioned in the table below.
