About the Project

Children from underprivileged background are imparted education through the year with an aim to mainstream them to schools with NIOS/ Type B CBSE board affiliated schools like Amitasha (Amity), DPS Shikshakendra, CD School, Shikshantar. A year long curriculum is followed. NCERT curriculum is imparted and the children are provided with meals and school uniform. The children are also exposed to rt, Yoga and Sports.

About the organisation

Sanshil Foundation for Welfare Project BAGIYA is a non-profit registered organisation in Gurgaon and NOIDA that caters to 200+ less privileged children in Gurgaon. Sanshil aims to integrate individuals and communities at the 'bottom of the economic pyramid' with self-sustainable employment and vocational opportunities that contribute to a greener global environment.

Since 2009, Project BAGIYA has delivered bridge and remedial education to underprivileged children and focussed on academics with holistic education. Over aged students are given a balance of academics and skill development training. At Sanshil , unlike a mainstream school able over aged students can jump a class in the same year.
