About the Project

For children in Nursery to VII & VIII grades

The cost includes outstanding academics, mid-day meal and tea, uniform, extra-curricular activities-sports, dance, music, art & theatre, additional coaching for Mathematics and Science, transportation, stationery, books and excursions.

Apart from scholastic achievements the following benefits will also accrue to the VIDYA students.

About the organisation

VIDYA with its journey of 34 years is a registered not-for-profit organization working for the education, empowerment, and transformation of less privileged children, youth and women through micro-level intervention. VIDYA was founded in 1985 by Rashmi Misra, who taught a class of five girls at her home on the campus of IIT Delhi, which turned out to be the start of a movement. In the past three decades, VIDYA has impacted over 3, 75,000 people with a presence in 5 metropolitan cities (Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai & Pune) and 78 successful projects across the country. Our nationally recognized grass-root level programs include schools, beyond school education, distance learning, computer training, youth management, adult literacy, skills training and social entrepreneurship for the less privileged.
