Increasing access to opportunities and increasing diversity is important in education to enable social transformation. Under-privileged children, young girls, rural talent can get access to the same opportunities as a privileged child under this project. The scholarship goes into providing application fee, content, books, tutor's fee, assessments, mentoring and so on. Your USD 300 USD or INR 20,000 per year can help a teenager travel successfully to his or her dream institution such as an IIT or IIM or National Law University or a top university in the country.
Nalanda Foundation works at building capacities and capabilities in institutions and individuals by working with stakeholders such as governments, corporations and institutions. The area of focus could be in any area pertaining to education including research, innovation, after-school support, teacher education, policy work, skills and employability and so on.
