In keeping with the overall objective of the Shiv Nadar University, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences will not only help students distil and assimilate the knowledge that already exists, but also develop new and deeper insights to add to the existing body of knowledge. This will be made possible by rigorous classroom teaching, round-the-clock interaction among students from different disciplines housed in the same campus and faculty that follows a single dictum "Good researchers make good teachers."
All programs in the undergraduate curriculum are structured to reflect University’s belief that multi-disciplinary thinking is the key to new discoveries.
The university requires all undergraduate programs to be of at least 120 credit hours of formal coursework. However, individual programs may have higher credit requirements.
