Symbiosis Admission Process

The online entrance test, also called as Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), is common to all the campuses of Symbiosis University. The process followed by the entrance test might differ in terms of the schedule such as date, venue, and mode.

Here is an overview of the admission process generally followed:

Step 1: Register yourself

Candidates seeking admission through the SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) must register for the chosen exam and separately register for the specific programs they are interested in at their preferred Symbiosis institutes.

Step 2: Take the exam

Appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test on the given date.

Step 3: Shortlisting and Selection Process

Based on your entrance exam score, individual Symbiosis institutes conduct their own shortlisting and selection processes. Shortlisted candidates might be invited for further rounds like interviews and written assessments.

Step 4: Merit List Declaration and Final Selection

Each institute declares its merit list based on a combination of entrance exam scores and the selection process performance.

Reservations at Symbiosis University

To admit candidates into the undergraduate programs offered at Symbiosis, the following are the reservation policies that are followed(except Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies):

Sanctioned Intake:

• Scheduled caste- 15% of the seats
• Scheduled Tribes- 7.5%
• Differently Abled Candidates- 3%
• Armed Forces Dependant- 5% for SICSR
• Domiciled- 25% for SCMS Nagpur

Over and Above Sanctioned Intake (Supernumerary Quota):

Kashmiri Migrants/Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindus (Non-Migrants)- 2 seats per programme

International Candidates- 20% over and above the sanctioned intake
