Established in 1996, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) is the 5th Indian Institute of Management in the country. IIM K is considered to be one of the leading IIMs, and it has shown tremendous growth in the past few years. It currently holds the 3rd rank according to NIRF 2023. Located on a 112.5-acre campus in the Kunnamangalam Area of Calicut, Kerala, the institute's campus was inaugurated in 2003 by former President APJ Abdul Kalam, fondly referred to as 'God’s own Campus'.

*Relaxation: Candidates possessing PGP (Full-time degree program) of any of the IIMs or holding E-PGP from IIM K do not have to appear for the qualifying tests.
Selection: Candidates will be selected based on their academic profile and qualifying scores. They then would be invited for a PI (Personal Interview) round at IIM Kozhikode. IIM K provides campus accommodation facilities to shortlisted candidates on a payment basis.

Admissions to the flagship program (PGP) in IIM Kozhikode are done based on the CAT score and one-on-one interviews. Here are the various stages of the admission process:

The shortlisting of candidates for each reservation category is done on the basis of their Aggregate Index Score (AIS) which comprises educational performance, CAT score, diversity, and work experience.
The shortlisted candidates must appear for the PI & WAT rounds. After the rounds, an overall score is compiled based on the scores of PI, WAT, CAT, and resume. The final category-wise merit list is released by the institute based on the scores.
