Indian Institute of Management (IIM Ranchi) is the ninth IIM to be established. Continuing the tradition of imparting education in management studies, IIM Ranchi was set in the year 2010. Eligibility For PGP Ex
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT or GMAT scores and their previous academic
performance.
Shortlisted candidates are called for a round of Personal Interview (PI). Candidates will finally be
selected on the basis of their performance in PI and the CAT/GMAT score.
The selections are based on performance in written test and personal interview.
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their academic record and performance in the competitive
examinations mentioned above.
Shortlisted candidates face a round of Personal Interview after which the final selections to the FPM
Programme are made.
Admission in PGDM is done in three stages at IIM Ranchi

Step 1: CAT Score: Firstly, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in CAT exam. The weightage given to your scores is 50%. The minimum sectional and overall cut-off for IIM Ranchi are given below:

Step 2: Personal Interview & Written Ability Test (PI & WAT): Candidates selected on the basis of performance in CAT are called for second round PI-WAT. Candidates should prepare whole heartedly for this round, as it carries 30% weightage.
Step 3: Profile Scoring: In IIMs, some points are awarded for gender diversity, academic diversity and work experience. It carries 20% of the weightage in the selection.
