CR questions are an important part of Verbal section in all the MBA exams. Critical Reasoning is a blanket term for questions like strong-weak arguments, inference based, FIJs and more. In exams like IIFT, SNAP and NMAT the questions are of easy to moderate level of difficulty but in CAT and XAT you can expect tougher questions where the options are close. Despite that elimination of choices can help you reach the answer faster. Since CAT 2016 exam had these questions in the non MCQ format and had no negative marking, therefore it is safe to attempt these questions. However for XAT and SNAP the given options would help you to solve these questions.

Why take Basic Free Critical Reasoning Test

CAT, XAT, SNAP have roughly 1-2 questions from Critical Reasoning that are of the basic level of difficulty. Every year CAT, XAT, SNAP have questions from Critical Reason, thus, the practice tests would help you to score more marks from these basic level questions.

With the new pattern of CAT that was introduced in 2015, not many CR questions feature in the paper. You can expect around 2-3 questions which would be non-MCQs. At the same time, this forms an integral part of exams like XAT and SNAP and sufficient attention should be given to it.
