To help you practise for CAT, XAT, IIFT, SNAP, NMAT and other MBA entrance exams.
The questions from the vocabulary and sentence correction are knowledge based and consume very little time, as only one reading will be sufficient to determine if you can/cannot answer the question. Therefore save time and move onto the next question if you do not get the answers in a single reading. Sentence correction questions may be solved by reading the question 2-3 times and guesswork based on combination of knowledge and elimination of choices. This topic carries more weightage in XAT, IIFT, and SNAP and is of easy-moderate level. However NMAT had moderate to difficult level questions from Vocab and Grammar, while fill in the blanks were of medium level.
The questions from Grammar and Vocabulary have not been asked in the CAT exam over the past few years, however, it is an extremely important topic for all other MBA entrance exams such as XAT, SNAP, IIFT, NMAT etc. Approximately 4-5 questions in XAT, 6-7 questions in IIFT and NMAT, 8-9 questions in SNAP of the basic level of Grammar and Vocabulary are asked each year.
XAT has 3-4 questions from the advanced level while, SNAP, IIFT, NMAT have 6-9 questions. As the topic is majorly knowledge based, the advanced practice tests will help you to evaluate yourself on your preparation for the exams.
Each of the MBA entrance exams XAT, SNAP, IIFT, NMAT have few questions from the expert level of Grammar and Vocabulary. The expert LOD practice tests will help you to analyse your performance and preparation for the topic for these exams.
