To help you practise for CAT, XAT, IIFT, SNAP, NMAT and other MBA entrance exams.
In CAT 2016, questions from Parajumbles were of moderate level of difficulty. All questions of Parajumbles were non MCQ type thereby increasing the ambiguity between the options. However, as there is no negative marking for the non MCQ questions, therefore it is safe to answer these questions even when in doubt. In XAT, IIFT, SNAP, NMAT, where the options are given for such questions, it becomes fairly easy to solve these questions by moving back and forth between the question and the options to successively eliminate the incorrect choices.
CAT, SNAP, IIFT have 2-3 questions each from the basic level of Para-jumbles. As these questions are both knowledge based as well as logic based, practicing with the tests will help you in analyzing your strengths and improving your performance.
The Para-jumble questions in CAT, XAT are mostly of advanced level of difficulty. Since CAT exam has introduced the non-MCQ type questions, the difficulty level of the Para-jumbles increases as the ambiguity of the sentences increases and elimination of choices is no more available. However for XAT the questions come as MCQ, therefore the questions can be solved after 1-2 reads by understanding the context and eliminating the choices.
1-2 questions in XAT, NMAT and CAT are from the expert level and expert LOD practice tests will ensure that you are able to attend these questions. As the questions are logic based, the only way to master this topic is through sufficient practice.

Para -Jumbles now appear in the CAT exam as non-MCQ questions where one has to identify the sequence of the statements without the help of any options. These questions are extremely tough to crack and there is no direct correlation between the amount of practice you do for these and your performance in the exam. One should avoid spending much time on these questions in the exam.
Note: The above given data has been compiled and corroborated from the exams of 2015 and 2016. The number of questions may change drastically in the exams in the coming year.
