All about 10th and 12th Board Exams in 2020.
The CBSE and ICSE Board have issued their guidelines for the pending board exams of 10th and 12th grade. After declaring that, the exams will be postponed, both the education boards have now decided to cancel the pending exams for both the classes. The specific guidelines for each of 10th and 12th class are as follows -
10th Board Exam Guidelines -
The board has decided to award the marks of the pending exams on the basis of the scores of already conducted exams and internal assessments.
The average of the scores, obtained in the best three performing subjects of the student, will be allotted as the marks of the subject whose exam is pending.
If the student has appeared only for three subjects till now then the average of the best two subjects will be considered while calculating the marks of the subject whose exam is pending.
The result for board exams of the 10th class will be declared on 15th July, 2020.
12th Board Exam Guidelines -
The CBSE board has added a provision for 12th Class Students that they can reappear for pending subjects exam, to improve their performance, once the situations are better.
Apart from that the guidelines for 12th board exam remain same as of 10th boards.
The result of 12th boards is also expected to be declared on 15th July, 2020.
