The CAT Registration Process

Step 1: Visit the CAT Official Website

Step 2: New User Registration

Click on the "New Candidate Registration" tab and provide your basic information, such as your name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number. After entering these details, you will receive your User ID and Password on your registered email.

Step 3: Complete the Application Form

Log in using the provided User ID and Password and complete the CAT application form. This involves entering personal details, academic information, work experience (if any), and selecting the IIM programs you wish to apply for. Ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date.

Step 4: Uploading Documents

You will be required to upload scanned copies of your passport-sized photograph, signature, and category certificates (if applicable). Follow the guidelines provided on the website for the proper format and size of the documents.

Step 5: Application Fee Payment

The next step is to pay the CAT application fee, which can be done online through various modes such as credit/debit cards, net banking, and UPI. The fee structure varies for different categories, so make sure you check the correct fee before making the payment.

Step 6: Select Test Centers

Select your preferred CAT exam center from the list of available options. Be mindful of the test center location and choose the one that is most convenient for you.
