What is IPMAT?

IPMAT is designed to assess a candidate's aptitude in quantitative ability, verbal ability, and logical reasoning. The two main IIMs that conduct this exam are:

  • IIM Indore – The pioneer of the IPM program
  • IIM Rohtak – Another prestigious institute offering IPM

Additionally, the IPMAT scores are accepted by multiple institutes for admission into their management programs.


Eligibility Criteria for IPMAT 2025

To appear for IPMAT 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be born on or after August 1, 2005 (relaxation for reserved categories).
  • Educational Qualification: Completion of Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2023, 2024, or appearing in 2025.
  • Minimum Marks Required:
    • General category: Minimum 60% marks in Class 10 & 12.
    • SC/ST/PwD categories: Minimum 55% marks in Class 10 & 12.

Selection Process for IPMAT

  1. IPMAT exam scores
  2. Academic performance (Class 10 & 12 scores)
