What is MAH-CET 2025?

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH-CET), also known as MBA CET or MHCET MBA, is a state-level exam conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. It is an entryway to MBA/MMS programs at over 300 colleges in Maharashtra, including top institutes like JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, K J Somaiya, and N L Dalmiya.

This computer-based test spans 2 hours and 30 minutes and includes 200 multiple-choice questions. Each year, nearly 100,000 aspirants register for the exam to secure seats in the best business schools.

MAH-CET MBA Selection Process

After the results are announced, the State CET Cell will conduct the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) to allocate MBA/MMS seats to candidates. The CAP includes document verification and the release of a merit list, followed by B-school allotments. Top MBA colleges such as JBIMS, SIMSREE, and PUMBA participate in this process, and admission will be based on the seat matrix and merit ranking.
