Eligibility Criteria for SNAP 2024

Before applying, ensure you meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Qualification: A bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Final-Year Students: Candidates appearing for final-year exams can apply but must meet the minimum marks requirement before admission.
  • Foreign Degrees: An equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) is required for foreign degree holders.

Reservation Policy

SNAP 2024 reserves seats as per SIU's guidelines:

  • SC: 15%
  • ST: 7.5%
  • Differently Abled: 3%
  • Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats per program
  • International Candidates: 20%
  • Defence Category (General): 80%
  • Defence Category (Special): 10%
  • Open Category: 10% for civilian candidates sponsored by the industry

SNAP 2024 Exam Structure

  • Format: Computer-based, 60 minutes.
  • Sections:
    • General English: 15 questions
    • Analytical & Logical Reasoning
    • Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency: 20 questions
  • Marking: 25% negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • Multiple Attempts: Up to three attempts allowed, with the best score considered for the final percentile.
  • Application Fee: 2,250 per attempt; 1,000 per program/college (paid once).

After your SNAP score, you'll be shortlisted for Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds for final selection.
