Mechanical Engineer, M.Tech from NIT Trichy and that too after getting sponsored by the conglomerate Larsen and Toubro (L&T) and working as a Senior Manager in the Mumbai Metro Project of L&T. Looks like a profile of a true Technical person. Now this profile will look more complete, more compelling, as Vipul Agrawal is set for his journey as a true Techno-Manager. Vipul had all the things that a young graduate hopes for - a great company, a good compensation and a decent work-life balance. But he also had in-plenty what most employees eventually get - a redundant job routine, a limited growth prospect, and some limited learning. Vipul knew that he was not doing justice to his talent and also realised that he eventually wants to start his own business. A choice was to be made between the present security and the future goals. And Vipul picked the bolder of the two choices. He left his job, returned to his home town and prepared diligently for CAT. With single-minded focus, he worked on improving his skills, took several Mocks to fine tune himself and now he is a step closer to realise his goal as he enters in to one of the prestigious B-Schools of India, SCMHRD Pune (leading institute under Symbiosis umbrella).
