Here is a story of those rare qualities – Faith and Courage. A story that says it is not about "how good the life is" but rather "how good one can be for the life" Meet Vaibhavi Goda, a fierce fighter who once wished just to live a normal life, walk freely and breathe effortlessly. Flash back 5 years, Vaibhavi was burning the midnight oil by studying 16 hours a day and was about to crack one of the most difficult exams JEE. But as the destiny had it, she was diagnosed with a rarest-of-the-rare cyst in the left lung. Just few days to go for the exam and she was advised for an immediate surgery. What followed next were injections, ICU and the worst of all – the postoperative depression. With the belief that more than the result it is the fight that matters, Vaibhavi decided to write all the exams. She knew that she won’t get IIT but she also believed that the Time is the biggest healer for those believes in the Power of Self. And she was right! Gradually, from winning the engineering college dance competitions to doing multiple internships, Vaibhavi started to make up for the lost time. It was during her internship at IBM that she got interested in exploring the business management field. She prepared for CAT and ended up with a percentile that she says “was not extraordinary but still good enough to fight for”. Keen to make best of this opportunity, she geared up and gave her very best in all the interviews.
