Never Give Up'! We all say, but how many of us live by it? This boy does. Avinash Pandey is one story that should inspire one and all. During his engineering days he met an unfortunate, life threatening accident. He had to be in bed for almost a year. His health did not permit him to study, his engineering got delayed, jobs and competitive exams looked out of reach. Any normal person would have been broken, would have blamed life for its harshness. Not Avinash. He was keen to get back and build his career, he was willing to win the ground inch -by -inch. In front of such people, destiny too toe the line. Avinash recovered and first thing he did was start preparing for IIMs. Now another battle began. Because of the accident, he could not drive bike or two-wheeler. Neither the scorching heat nor the rains ever deterred him, as he rode his bicycle to CL classes from his home 10 kms away. Looking at his dedication, I made a prophecy that he will get in to an IIM, even though he was scoring 50 percentile in mocks at that time. Any success depends less on talent and more on attitude. And Avinash has latter in plenty. The prophecy turned true, it had to, because tough people with the real 'Never Give Up' attitude create their own destiny.
