BHU Admission 2025: Banaras Hindu University is an internationally reputed university of learning situated in the holy city of Varanasi. The university was founded by the great nationalist leader Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya in 1916 with the cooperation of great personalities like Dr Annie Besant, who viewed it as the University of India. The area of the main campus of this premiere Central University is 1300 acres. It is the largest residential university in Asia, with over 30,000 students residing on campus. BHU UG Admission 2025: Latest Update

To participate in the BHU UG admission 2025 process and secure a seat in any of the top colleges of BHU, students need to sit in the CUET 2025 and score excellent marks in the test. After the CUET results are declared, candidates are supposed to register for the BHU CSAS portal to take part in the BHU 2025 counselling process. All the updates regarding the cut-offs, seat matrix for a course and college, and vacant seats will only be updated on the candidates' BHU CSAS portal personal dashboard.

Following the past years’ trend, In 2025, BHU UG Registration is expected to start in the mid of July 2025. Registration is the first step for BHU UG admission 2025 for the students who appeared in the CUET 2025 and seek to take admission in any of the UG courses at Banaras Hindu University. Eligible students can submit their forms for their desired UG courses from the official website of BHU. The last date to register for the BHU UG Admission 2025 is expected in the 1st week of August 2024.

A total of 13 thousand seats (approximately) will be offered across its constituent colleges for BHU UG admission 2025 in various streams and subjects. Students need to fill out a common Banaras Hindu University application form on the BHU CSAS portal once it is open for registration after CUET results are declared. BHU Application Form & Admission Process

Unlike in past years, students will now face a change in the BHU 2025 admission process and get admission to any top colleges of BHU. Till 2021, the students had to do their BHU registration and fill out the BHU application form and were shortlisted through BHU entrance exams or direct merit. However, the BHU admission 2025 will be based on the candidate’s CUET scorecard. CUET is a mandatory national-level entrance test for admission to not just Banaras Hindu University but 280+ universities across the country.

BHU accepts CUET-UG entrance test scores for admission to its UG courses. For BHU UG admission 2025, aspirants must apply for CUET-UG by visiting the official website of the NTA CUET. Further, once the CUET results are declared or the BHU CSAS registration portal is open, candidates need to register for it to participate in the counselling process for BHU 2025 admission.
