- Candidates should score a minimum of 50% marks in their +2 examination in the General category and 45% for SC/ST (category) candidates.
- Candidates should have taken up subjects in +2 depending upon the course they opt for.

- Applicants can apply for CUET while attempting the qualifying examination of the university. However, they would have to produce the passing certificate at the time of counselling.
- There is no age limit to appear for CUET 2024. However, the candidates must fulfill the educational qualifications to be eligible for the CUET 2024 exams.

BA English Honours covers a wide range of literature based on social, cultural, and political concerns in different eras. The detailed steps are provided below.
- The admission to B.A. (Hons.) English is based on the cut-off list (based on CUET score) released by the university/college.
- The CUET application forms are out early in the month of February every year. The application process is online.
- Students are required to fill out the application form before the deadline.
- Take the CUET and get a valid CUET scorecard.
- After the declaration of CUET results (sometimes before also), universities will open their own Common Seat Allocation registration portal.
- Students need to register for their respective desired universities portal to take part in the counselling process.
- Universities will then release their respective cut-off for BA English honours UG admission.
- Once the student is allocated a seat at any college/campus, they need to pay the required fees within the given deadline to confirm their admission.
If the CUET score of a student fulfills the cut-off criterion issued by the college, they are granted admission based on it.
