CUET 2025 reservation policy: The NTA has outlined it and is considered by 280+ participating universities while granting UG admissions to desirous and eligible candidates. There are various kinds of reservations offered by the universities based on the following criteria:
> Caste & category
> Abilities (physical & financial)
> Sports, ECA. & NCC
The CUET university list includes 46 central, 40 state, 156 private, and 29 deemed universities. It also includes 10 government institutions. While all 46 central universities accepting CUET scores for UG admissions will follow a standard CUET reservation policy prescribed by the UGC, the others might follow different standards. It is essential for students to gain complete awareness of the various reservations to apply for the same successfully.
CUET Reservation Policy for Central Universities

While the CUET scores under this category only contribute to 25% of admission weightage, the remaining 75% is the certificates (state & national level) and live trials for the selection process.
CUET 2025 Reservation Policy for Kashmiri Migrants
The UGC, as well as NTA, has outlined some preferences and benefits for Kashmiri Migrants under the CUET reservation policy 2025. However, the relaxation of the CUET 2025 reservation policy might vary from institute to institute.
> Increased course-wise seat intake capacity (up to 5%).
> A relaxation in cut-off (up to 10%) is offered to the Kashmiri Migrants.
> However, the cut-off relaxation is subject to the minimum eligibility criteria requirement.
> Waiving off the domicile proofs for migrants from the Kashmir region.
