The Common University Entrance Test, formerly the Central University Common Entrance Test, is a nationwide examination conducted by the National Testing Agency. CUET (UG) aims to facilitate admissions to numerous undergraduate courses offered by 45+ central universities and 280+ universities across India.

It was introduced in 2022 to provide equal opportunities to students across India, regardless of the Board they came from, for admission to the Country's top universities. The CUET test mode is online (CBT-Computer-Based Test). The CUET  2025 exam pattern has been revised, and some new changes have been observed. However, there is no change in the CUET marking scheme for 2025.

The question paper will be Multiple Choice Question type only with the marking scheme as follows:

> +5 for the correct answer

> -1 for the wrong answer

> 0 for any unattempted question

In case of any dropped question (Questions for which all the given options were wrong), students who have attempted that question will only be awarded the full marks.

Following are the three sections of the exam:

> Section I – 13 Languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu)

> Section II – 23 Domain-specific Subjects

> Section III – General Aptitude Test

There will be 50 questions (tentatively) in all the papers across all the sections, and students will be given 60 minutes to answer them. To learn briefly about the CUET exam structure, check out the latest CUET Exam Pattern.

Keep learning, keep growing.
