Central University of Kashmir: In 2009, the Central University of Kashmir was established in Srinagar. The university has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It has accreditation with a “B++” Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University offers UG admissions under various streams, including Science, Technology, Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Computer Application, and more. These are offered under nine constituent schools. Undergraduate Admission to this university from 2022 onwards will be done based on the national-level competitive exam CUET. The university won’t conduct any independent entrance exam for admission to its UG courses. The Central University of Kashmir also has a Directorate of Distance Education.
