The CUET UG registration process is officially closed now. The last date to fill out the CUET 2025 application form was March 24 (11:50 PM). The exam will be the sole gateway for admission to top universities like DU, BHU, JNU, JMI, University of Allahabad, etc. (total 287). Students must take the test and acquire a valid CUET scorecard if they aspire for UG admission to any of these universities.

CUET Registration 2025

Complete the first step of the CUET application form by registering for it, and don't forget to note the system-generated application number. The application number and registration confirmation communications are sent to every student using their registered email and phone number. Therefore, candidates should provide the required details correctly while filling out the CUET application form 2025.

Students must also create a password, choose a security question, and enter their answers. The security question can be used to reset the CUET password in case students forget it.

Candidates must follow the following steps to complete and successfully submit the CUET registration form:

• Step 1: Visit the official NTA CUET website - cuet.nta.nic.in
• Step 2: Click on the “New Candidate Register Here” button
• Step 3: Download and read the Information Bulletin carefully
• Step 4: Fill out the CUET registration form, including personal details and address
• Step 5: Validate the details in the preview application section and click “submit
• Step 6: Complete the CUET registration verification process by entering the OTP received on the registered mobile & email ID.

After completing the CUET registration process, students can log into their account by entering the user ID (CUET application form number) and password set while completing their CUET 2025 registration and filling out the CUET form.

CUET 2025 Application Form

Step 1: Register Contact Details

Here students are required to reconfirm their email ID and mobile number. Students must also provide their present and permanent address. Students can opt for the same from the check box if they are the same.

Step 2: Register Personal Details

The CUET application form will primarily require the following personal details - Name, Father name, Mother name, Caste (GEN, SC, ST, OBC - NCL), Nationality, etc. Fill in all the details with utmost diligence. Make sure to double-check the spelling of all the credentials.

Step 3: Register Identity Details

Here students must confirm their identity by providing details related to any of their government IDs. (Aadhar card, Voter card, PAN card, Driving license, etc.)

Step 4: Register APAAR ID

This is a fresh step added to the CUET application form-filling process. Students must register for the “Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry” as a part of the form-filling process.

Step 5: Apply for the Exam and Select the Test Paper

Here, students must carefully choose the subject for their CUET test. The subjects they choose must satisfy the eligibility criteria of the program they are targeting in their choice of universities. Students can select a maximum of 5 subjects in their CUET 2025 application form.

Keep the scanned photo and signature ready as per the prescribed specifications (Photograph Size: 10KB – 200KB, Signature Size: 4KB – 30KB, Category certificate - 50KB - 300KB, and the format should be JPG/JPEG).

Step 6: Register Qualification Details

Students must submit their details regarding the class 10 and 12 Board exams (roll number). Students appearing for class 12 Board exams in 2025 must check and submit details accordingly.

Step 7: Register additional details

The CUET application form also requires students to submit additional details and supporting documents wherever required. Additional details might include a category or special quota-related details. Students must check them carefully and submit relevant details.

Step 8: Register Emergency Contact Details

Students must submit one emergency contact details (email and phone number) to which they might have access. In case of any discrepancy with their initial details, the communication might be sent to the emergency contact.

Step 9: Upload Documents

Keep the scanned photo and signature ready as per the prescribed specifications (Photograph Size: 10KB – 200KB, Signature Size: 4KB – 30KB, Category certificate - 50KB - 300KB, and the format should be JPG/JPEG).

Step 10: Final Submit

Students must check all the details thoroughly, as well as the terms and conditions, before submitting the final CUET 2025 application form.

CUET Application Fees

The NTA charges the students nominal CUET application fees so they can conduct the exams smoothly on the given dates. Candidates must pay it in the final step of filling out the CUET application form. The fee can be submitted online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services. Processing charges and GST, as applicable, are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned bank/payment gateway.

All the CUET forms must have a successful payment status. Hence, pay the required CUET 2025 application fees before the last date (March 25 - 11:50 PM).

CUET Application Form Correction Window

The CUET form-filling process might have concluded, but the CUET application correction window is still open until March 28 (11:50 PM). The correction window helps students make some changes to their CUET application form. If they have provided any wrong information or made any other mistake, it can be corrected during this time. However, not all the details can be modified. Therefore, students must check the detailed list of editable fields and proceed to make necessary corrections if required.

The correction window for the CUET application form will be March 26 - 28 (till 11:50 PM). Check for the list of editable and uneditable fields provided in the list below.

Note:

• If there is any impact on the fees, students must pay it to submit the correction request successfully.
• The corrections can be made only once. After submitting, the form will be frozen

Things to keep in mind while filling out the CUET application form 2025:

Keep the required documents ready, along with a scanned copy of the photograph, signature, and category certificate (if applicable).

• The payment of the CUET application fee is to be made online only.
• The CUET application form of a candidate will not be accepted by exam authorities till the fee is paid successfully.
• Upon successful CUET registration and completion of the CUET application form, candidates will receive a confirmation email and SMS on their registered email address and phone number. So, provide a valid email address and phone number.
• While choosing the test centre for CUET 2025, one must be careful as no change may be allowed once the form has been submitted.
• After filling out the CUET application form, download a copy of it and take a print of the CUET form for any future reference.
• Always remember and be aware of the CUET form last date.

What After Filling Out the CUET Form?

The selection process for CUET begins once the exams are over and the CUET results are declared. All the UG admissions will only be done based on the candidate's CUET scorecard. Ensure the following details after successfully filling out the CUET application form.

• Download the CUET admit card and check for any discrepancies. If any error is found, immediately inform the authorities.
• Appear for the exam on the given dates and at the centre as notified on the admit card.
• Validate the answers once the official provisional answer key is released by NTA.
• Use the grievance redressal mechanism for any issues with the provisional answer key.
• Once the results are announced, Students must download their CUET scorecard. Then, they can register for the CSAS portal of the respective universities they might be targeting and participate in the subsequent counselling process for admissions.

DU considers the class 12th marks of the candidate in case of a tie in their CUET score (two or more students with the same CUET score opting for the same course and college). DU considers the class 12 Board marks (best of 3, 4, and 5 consecutively), and even if there is a tie, the older student gets the seat. Therefore, the Board marks are also important if a student is aiming for DU UG admission.
