CUET Result & Cut-off

As the CUET results 2024 are declared, all the participating universities will open their registration process to conduct counseling for admission (A few universities open the registrations before the CUET result declaration).

Once students register for the respective universities' counseling process, the universities will update the respective course-wise cut-off for admission/merit list on the students' dashboard.

Students need to fulfill the course-wise CUET Cut-off marks declared by the respective colleges/universities and any other additional eligibility criteria decided by them as well. Many universities are expected to announce multiple cut-off lists depending on the intake capacity. If students fail to get in through the first chance, they must keep an eye on the same.

Students must go through the detailed eligibility guidelines of their desired course in each of the universities/colleges they are applying to and check their CUET results to make wise choices.

With more than 250 universities, 3 lakh+ seats, and numerous course choices, students might miss out on choosing the best for themselves. At CL, we look forward to providing students with the necessary assistance in analyzing the CUET cut-off list of the colleges and deciding upon the ideal course and college for them.

Admission Consulting Program

CUET 2024 Cut-off might depend on the following factors:

  • The difficulty level of the exam
  • The number of applicants for the year 2024
  • Availability of seats in different universities
  • Seat availability for general and reserved categories
  • The merit list of previous years'

CUET DU Cut-off & Tiebreaker Rule

With the number of applicants and the test takers, there is always a possibility that there might be more than one student with the same CUET score opting for the same college and course. What happens in such a scenario for DU admission, and who gets the seat?

In an exciting move regarding UG admission, the University of Delhi (DU) has declared a special tiebreaker rule for deciding such cases (tied CUET UG result 2024). DU has declared that if the CUET score of the students is a tie, it will consider the class 12th marks of the student (best of 3, 4, and 5, respectively), and as the last criterion, the candidate's age will be considered. The seat will be awarded to the older student. Therefore, students need to remember that apart from the CUET 2024 result, they must have an equally good score on their boards.

CUET Results FAQs

The CUET UG results 2024 were declared on July 28, 2024.

The CUET UG results were declared online on NTA-CUET's official website.

A student can appear multiple times for the CUET. There are no limits on the number of attempts a candidate is allowed. You need to just meet the eligibility criteria (class 12 marks) set by NTA & CUET.

The class 12 marks are not directly considered for UG admission anymore as the admissions are done on the basis of the CUET result of the candidate. However, in the tiebreaker scenario (for DU admission), the class 12 result and even the age of the student might be considered.
