CUET UG 2025: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) was introduced in 2022, and since then, it has revamped the entire UG admission scenario in India. Now, it is the sole entrance exam whose score will be considered for UG admissions across 250+ participating universities. The registration process for CUET usually begins in the last week of February, and the CUET UG 2025 registration last date will be the end of March (tentatively).
Commencing 2024, NTA will conduct CUET UG in a hybrid mode [online - CBT mode and offline - pen & paper mode]. Common University Entrance Test, popularly referred to as CUET. The test is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) annually for UG & PG, both separately. 250+ universities, including 45+ central universities (like DU, BHU, JNU, JMI, etc.) participate in CUET UG. However, only 170+ universities participate in CUET PG.
With the ever-rising cut-offs, the best of the central universities (like DU, BHU, JNU, etc.) and other top universities were getting out of reach for many aspiring students. Moreover, there was no uniformity among the various Board examinations regarding syllabus, level of difficulty, and marking schemes, so students from some of the Boards got an undue advantage. CUET UG levelled that uneven ground and gave all students equal opportunity.

CUET UG 2025The Nationa Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the CUET UG annually in a hybrid mode (Online & offline). Currently, NTA has not announced the CUET UG 2025 exam dates. However, the CUET UG exam is tentatively conducted annually from May to June.
