- Indian Army National Seminar-cum-Webinar, named as "Divya-Drishti 2021" on Multi-Domain Operations: Future of Conflicts organised by Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS), on 11 February 2021.

- "Divya-Drishti 2021", meaning divine or cognitive perception required for an informed vision, aimed to bring together national and international experts and practitioners to deliberate on the complex and emerging subject on multi-domain operations (MDO).
Multi-domain operations (MDO).
- The collusive threats along the borders coupled with state sponsored terrorism reveals that the Indian Army needs to be prepared in multiple domains to tackle adversarial threats and to safeguard the territorial integrity of the country.
- A multi-domain war demands redetermination and re-examination of our doctrines, strategy and up-gradation of our capabilities.
- The proceedings of the seminar were conducted in three sessions. The first session was focussed on "Future Threats and Challenges: India's Preparedness in Multi Domain Ops"
- Second session on "Enhancing Jointness in MDO" examined the concepts of jointness and measures required to achieve cohesion as a joint force and integration of services
- In the third session on "Achieving Convergence & Collusivity in MDO", requirement of joint structures to fight joint wars in multi-domains, integration and convergence of force structure and creation of theatre commands were discussed.
Know! about Multi-Domain Operations (MDO)
- It describes how the Army, as part of the joint force [Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines] can counter and defeat a near-peer adversary capable of contesting the Country in all domains [air, land, maritime, space, and cyberspace] in both competition and armed conflict.
- The concept describes how Country's ground forces, as part of the joint and multinational team, deter adversaries and defeat highly capable near- peer enemies in the 2025-2050 timeframe.
- MDO provides commanders numerous options for executing simultaneous and sequential operations using surprise and the rapid and continuous integration of capabilities across all domains to present multiple dilemmas to an adversary in order to gain physical and psychological advantages and influence and control over the operational environment.
Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS)
- The Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS), New Delhi, India is an independent think tank on strategic studies and land warfare.
- The mandate of CLAWS covers national security issues, conventional military operations and sub-conventional warfare.
- CLAWS is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and is a membership-based organisation.
- CLAWS disseminate the products of its research to its members, members of the armed forces, decision makers, members of the strategic community and interested civilians.

- Government of India is organizing 'The India Toy Fair, 2021' from 27th February 2021 to 2nd March 2021 on a virtual platform.
- This initiative is in line with the Prime Minister's vision of making India a global hub for the Toy Industry.
The India Toy Fair, 2021
- The Fair aims to provide an impetus to the underlying themes of "Atmanirbhar Bharat" and "vocal for local" campaigns, launched by the Government to promote indigenous industries.
- It also aims to leverage the potential of toys in making learning joyful across all ages in education.
- The India Toy Fair 2021 intends to bring policy makers, toy manufacturers & distributors, investors, industry experts, MSMEs, artisans, start-ups, children, parents and teachers together on a common platform, in a bid to propel the growth of the Indian Toy Industry, giving it a global competitive edge.
- The main attractions of the Fair include a Virtual Exhibition with over 1000 virtual stalls, webinars by State Governments, knowledge sessions with engaging panel discussions/webinars on diverse topics by experts on areas including toy-based learning, craft demonstrations, competitions, quizzes, virtual tours, product launches, etc.
- The exhibitors include Indian businesses engaged in creating happy childhoods and educating children through play, as well as NCERT, SCERTs, CBSE along with their schools and teachers, IIT Gandhinagar, NID and Children University Ahmadabad.

Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCDNER)

- North East Region with its renewed vigour on modern organic agriculture is poised to become hub for organic production of its unique heritage crops.
- Emerging demand for safe and healthy organic food with added flavour of being grown in pristine environment and virgin soils of India's North Eastern states is fast emerging as unique opportunity to the farmers of the region.
Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region" (MOVCDNER )
- Realizing the potential, the Central government initiated a scheme for development of commercial organic farming in the region during 2015 which later became to be known as "Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region" (MOVCDNER).
- MOVCDNER, is instrumental in bringing a definitive change in the lives of the organic growers in the region, the scheme, provides end to end support to the farmers from farm to fork including quality production, effective postharvest management, value addition through processing and direct market linkages to national and international markets.
- Transformation of farmer clusters into Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) empowering the growers with institutional mechanisms, collective production and processing strength for quality and quantity and ensures emergence of new breed of organic agri-enterprises.
- Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North East Region (MOVCD-NER) is a Central Sector Scheme, a sub-mission under National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture (NMSA), launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare for implementation in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura, during the 12th plan period.
- The scheme aims to development of certified organic production in a value chain mode to link growers with consumers and to support the development of entire value chain starting from inputs, seeds, certification, to the creation of facilities for collection, aggregation, processing, marketing and brand building initiative.
- MOVCDNER has also played a pivotal role in entrepreneurship development and has supported both FPCs and local entrepreneurs in establishing food business.
- Through technical and monetary support (75% subsidy to FPOs and 50% subsidy to private entrepreneurs for establishing food processing/post-harvest units)

- Union Budget 2021-22 has laid a major emphasis on strengthening country's digital infrastructure for education by announcing setting up of a National Digital Educational Architecture (NDEAR) within the context of a Digital First Mindset where the Digital Architecture will not only support teaching and learning activities but also educational planning, governance administrative activities of the Centre and the States/ Union Territories.
National Digital Educational Architecture (NDEAR)
- It will provide diverse education eco-system architecture for development of digital infrastructure, a federated but interoperable system that will ensure autonomy of all stakeholders, especially States and UTs.
- NDEAR is being envisioned to be a digital infrastructure for Education. NDEAR will be beneficial for both Centre and States in planning, administering and governing school education as well as to teachers, students and schools for having a seamless digital learning experience.
- The institutional structure, governance framework, technology and data of NDEAR will benefit the entire student and teacher community.
