BITS colleges is one of the most sought after colleges among the students. Every year BITS carries out the BITSAT exam for admission into BITS colleges. Lakhs of students every year apply for the BITSAT exam for admission into one of the topmost engineering colleges of the country.
Most of the students who appear for BITSAT, also appear for JEE. Although the syllabus for both the exams is very much similar, the pattern is very different from each other. BITSAT is more of a test of time management and accuracy. However, JEE is a test of conceptual knowledge. Preparation for any exam first starts with a thorough understanding of the exam pattern.
BITSAT is a three-hour test. The exam is divided into 4 sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning. Questions are of objective type and have only one correct answer. Each correct would award a candidate with +3 while an incorrect answer would impose a penalty of 1 mark. Unattempted questions will be marked 0. The pattern of the exam is given below.
