Getting into IIT Bhubaneswar – Admissions

1. For all B.Tech programs – JEE Advanced
2. All the IIT aspirants have to sit for JEE Main and afterwards, JEE Advanced. Only the top 2,24,000 scores in JEE Main will become eligible to sit for JEE advanced. The candidates must have secured at least 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th Class Examination conducted by respective boards. For SC/ST students, there shall be a relaxation of 5% in this criterion.

B.Tech admission at IITBBS is done through online counseling. Counseling organized by the college is held for those candidates who are shortlisted through the screening process on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in JEE. After the allotment of seat candidates need to submit the requisite fee and required documents for verification.

Facilities at IITBBS

IIT Bhubaneswar is presently completely operating from its permanent campus at Arugul, Khurda. All B. Tech., M. Tech. and M. Sc. Classes are being held at the permanent campus.  In addition, the students are also able to access the facilities of Central Tool Room and Training Center, Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology and Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology for hands-on training. The academic campus is Wi-Fi enabled and equipped with class rooms having audio-visual aid, well- equipped laboratories, library, high bandwidth internet and video conferencing facility.
