Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi is a public university located in Delhi. Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the 23 IITs created to be Centres of Excellence for training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India. It has been ranked second in the Engineering category by NIRF ranking 2019 as well as Outlook Ranking 2019.

IIT Delhi placements were inaugurated its first phase of 2020-21 on December 1, 2020. Over 300 jobs had been offered to the students and the maximum number of jobs were offered by top recruiters Microsoft, Intel, Goldman Sachs. Admissions in IIT Delhi

• For all B.Tech programs – JEE Advanced
• All the IIT aspirants have to sit for JEE Main and afterward, JEE Advanced. Only the top 2, 24,000 scores in JEE Main will become eligible to sit for JEE advanced. The candidates must have secured at least 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th Class Examination conducted by respective boards. For SC/ST students, there shall be a relaxation of 5% in this criterion.

• B.Tech admission at IITDH is done through online counseling. Counseling organized by the college is held for those candidates who are shortlisted through the screening process on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in JEE. After the allotment of seat candidates need to submit the requisite fee and required documents for verification.
