Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state level entrance examination conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). It is conducted for admission to professional courses including B.Tech, B.Pharm and Pharm D offered by various institutions in Karnataka state.

KCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility:

Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Eligibility for Engineering Courses:

Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
Subjects: Candidate should pass the above examination with English as a language subject and Physics & Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer/ Electronics.
Minimum Marks: Candidate should have scored 45 % marks (40 % marks for Reserved categories).

KCET 2021 Exam Pattern

Mode of exam: Exam will be held in offline mode.
Type of questions: Paper will consist multiple choice questions (MCQs).
Duration of exam: Each paper/subject will have a duration of 80 minutes.
Maximum marks: Each paper will be of 60 marks, i.e., total will be of 180 marks.
