The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIITD) has opened admissions for eligible students to various B. Tech undergraduate courses. It is considered as the center of quality education. There is no separate entrance exam for IIIT.Firstly, the admissionsare done on the basis of the performance in JEE Mains and the selected students are then called for common counseling which is conducted by JAC Delhi. The students shall have to apply at www.jacdelhi.nic.in.

IIIT Delhi B.Tech 2016 Counselling Procedure:

The counselling is done byJoint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi. The students must apply, fill their choices and pay the fee online. The counselling takes place in multiple rounds.

The merit list is prepared for selected students and verification of bonus marks. The candidates have to report for verification of documents and do all the necessary formalities.

 IIITD Eligibility

Candidates can get admission at IIITD on the basis of total marks obtained in Paper 1 of JEE Main and aggregate in Class 12th or any other equivalent exam.A student must have 80% or more marks in the aggregate and 80% or more in Mathematics in class XII from any board. The aggregate of best five subjects will be taken.

Following categories will get relaxation:

• Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as the core subjects in the last two years of 10+2 or equivalent examination.
• 10% for SC/ST
• 5% for CW
• 5% for PH
• 5% for OBC
