IBPS CWE-V RRB Office Assistant Main Exam 2016 was conducted on December 18, 2016. There were 200 questions, which had to be answered in 2 hours. There were five sections namely, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, English Language/Hindi Language and Computer Knowledge. There was negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question for all the sections.

Expected Cutoffs - These cannot be given at this stage since there are huge variations in cut-offs among different Gramin banks depending on their state.

The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate to difficult. The section was dominated by questions based on puzzles and seating arrangement. There were two puzzles wherein one was based on 10 people facing North and South, while the other was based on age comparison of 7 people. Questions based on Data Sufficiency were time consuming. A smart approach to the section would have resulted in a good attempt of 26 questions.

The maximum number of questions from this section was from Current Affairs & General Knowledge. Questions were also asked from banking awareness. This section was of easy to moderate difficulty level.
English Language section was dominated by questions based on Reading Comprehension and Cloze Test. The questions based on Reading Comprehension passage included Synonyms & Antonyms. An average of 18-20 questions is considered as good attempts.
