About Us


The ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh (Baddi) has been established under the provision of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University (Establishment and Regulation) Act 2011 (Act No. 43 of 2011) passed by the Legi2slative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh on June 17, 2011. The University is sponsored by The ICFAI Society - a not-for-profit educational society established in 1984.

Campus Infrastructure: The University campus is in the Educational Hub at Baddi. It has a two lakh sq. ft. built-up area with academic blocks and classrooms with the latest audio-visual equipment. Other facilities include an equipped library, labs and a computer centre. The entire campus is wi-fi enabled.

Programs: The University offers career-oriented educational programs at Postgraduate, Undergraduate and Doctoral levels in management, commerce, law, information technology and science & technology

  • Pass in Class XII or equivalent with an aggregate of 45% and above marks in a single attempt (any discipline) in English medium. Class XII (or equivalent) students who appeared for their final examinations before July 01, 2025, and awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
  • Should have qualified in ILSAT 2025 conducted by ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad
Selection Process Personal Interviews: The program's admission selection is based on merit secured in the ILSAT 2025 and performance in the personal interview and previous academics.

Based on Past Academic Records:
Merit Scholarships based on past academic record: The percentage achieved in the qualifying examination (or its equivalent) will decide the scholarship amount. The scholarship will continue semester after semester only on maintaining the minimum 6.0 CGPA. The details are presented in the following table.

Merit Scholarships *Based on Semester-wise Performance.

Merit Scholarships based on Semester-wise Performance: Up to 10% of the batch students will be awarded merit scholarships in addition to the scholarship based on the past academic record. In case of a tie, the scholarship amount would be divided equally.

Summer Internship Program


The Summer Internship Program, supervised by faculty, equips students with practical skills for real-world scenarios, bridging the gap between academia and the professional world. It simulates an actual work environment, allowing students to experience the demands of a professional setting.
