There are multiple factors that govern the toughness of an exam. Similarly, there are a number of factors, number of exam takers, the acceptance rate of both exams, the number of seats, and the syllabus, that will showcase if IPMAT is tougher than CAT or not.
From a general perspective of seats and acceptance rate of the exam, it is believed that IPMAT is a much simpler exam with an approximate acceptance rate of 2% as opposed to the CAT exam.
240 is an excellent score to clear the IPMAT exam. Anything between the range of 230-260 is considered a good score which can easily fetch the aspirant a call for both IPMAT Indore and IPMAT Rohtak.
