Jansons School of Business was established in the year 2002 by the great philanthropist and industrialist, Rtn. MPHF. T.S. Natarajan, Chairman of Jansons Group with a vision to be a quintessentially practical Business School, developing managers and entrepreneurs who would be game-changers in management and leadership practices. Jansons Group has interests in Textiles, Retail and Healthcare. As an AICTE-recognised management school, JSB is affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, and offers MBA (full-time and residential), M.Phil and Ph.D degrees in its modern and state-of-the-art campus. JSB has been accorded Autonomous Status by the University Grants Commission, from the year 2015-2016. Full-time and Residential MBA course
JSB-MBA is a two-year full-time residential programme. All students should mandatorily reside in campus to facilitate participative learning and to make use of the curriculum supportive facilities like library and system based information data as reference study. The scope of participative learning is to impart group interactions, to develop interpersonal skills and to build a network of relationships among students besides sharpening their focus on academic excellence. Residential programme helps effective utilization of lectures delivered by industry experts also.
Innovative Curriculum
The Autonomous Status accorded by the University Grants Commission enhanced JSB's curriculum and the pedagogy, which are supported by role play, management games, in-basket exercises, case studies, debates and project work. This judicious mix enables an application-oriented learning and helps in sharpening the business acumen of students. The curriculum is so designed that all the students will have to undergo a three month internship programme. Personality Development is an integral part of JSB-MBA curriculum. There is a set of dedicated sessions aimed at developing communication and contemporary management practices. At JSB every student is assigned a Faculty-Mentor to track the progress of the student and intervene as and when necessary.

JSB has a good mix of professors drawn from industry and academics. The core faculty team at JSB constantly endeavors to challenge the frontiers of Management, and seeks and succeeds in exposing the students to the cutting-edge changes happening in contemporary management practice and theory. Giving students a corporate orientation by imparting business skills that ensure a holistic development of the budding managers, is a task that the members of faculty jubilantly deliver. In addition to the core faculty team, Also, JSB has a panel of industry experts teaching specific modules of certain elective courses.

The placement programme at JSB is managed by the Centre for corporate relations. JSB has been achieving 100% placements for all those students who had shown interest and opted for placement programme consistently.

JSB's well-stocked library contains about 17000 books & subscribes to over 135 journals and its information centre has a unique and updated resource collection to EBSCO Data base that contains about 1000 online international journals relating to all fields of management, in addition to CAPITALINE, the financial database. The services of library & information centre are rendered online through a fully bar coded & web based Autolib system. There is a choice of sports related facilities: Basketball, Table tennis, Badminton & volleyball and modern fitness & recreation infrastructure.
