The event took place on 10th October 2019 at Michelin India Technology Center in Pune. The attendees of the event were the Michelin Top Management Team (20+ Members) from Africa, India & Middle-East (Known as AIM Team internally).
Sujit Bhattacharya & Subhrajit Bhattacharya anchored the Machine Learning & It’s Applications sessions. This session was the most interactive. The participants understood the Applications of ML, which was explained with relevant examples.
The ML Application on Michelin’s Sales Data was the most popular out of all as it involved using their own sales data and analysing the outcomes. Some of the prescriptions given by ML Algorithms were found to be very interesting for them. There were questions posed to Sujit & Subhrajit on how Michelin should go about having a structured ML team within their organisation.
Michelin leadership team looks forward to creating a Machine Learning team and implement projects within organisation.
