MHCET 2018 Exam Analysis (10th March, Morning Slot)

Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra conducted its Common Entrance Test for admission to MBA/MMS and PGDBM/PGDM courses offered in various institutes in Maharashtra. The test is being conducted in two time slots (10:00 am -12:30 pm and 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm) and will span over a two day window i.e. March 10, 2018 and March 11, 2017.

The computer based test conducted on March 10, 2018 had 200 questions spread across four sections viz. Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension and Quantitative Aptitude - with 75, 25, 50 and 50 questions respectively. A student had to attempt these in 150 minutes. The fact that the test had no negative marking provided an opportunity for students to guess the answers to difficult questions. Given the number of questions, MH-CET was clearly a test of your speed and accuracy. The exam was largely on the lines of previous CETs.
