SET Eligibility Criteria 2025

• Candidate must have passed Class XII or equivalent examinations in the relevant stream from a recognized board or university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST category students), depending on the specific institute.
• Candidate in Class XII or awaiting their Class XII result is also eligible to apply but he/she will have to submit proof of securing the minimum marks(as mentioned above), at the time of the second stage of admission.
• Candidates who have completed Class XII or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must have an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities.
• minimum of 7.5 CGPA is required at the end of Semester 6 to opt for Honours with Research.

SET 2025 Application Process

Candidates can appear for the SET exam conducted on two different dates. He/she can appear for both exams and the one with the higher score will be considered.

The SET 2025 application is an online process. The application forms for SET 2025 are available online on the official website of SET (https://www.set-test.org/). Students who wish to appear for the SET are required to fill out the online application form.

• The entrance test registration fee for SET is INR 2250/- per test. It is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Furthermore, for each program you want to apply for, you must pay the INR 1000 program registration fee which is also non-transferable and non-refundable.

Check out the application process in the following steps:

• Create a new user profile by doing the SET registration with details such as name, date of birth, gender, email ID phone number, etc.
• Upload the required important documents in the prescribed format.
• Do the payment of the application fee via credit/debit card, internet banking or UPI.
• Fill out the application form with the necessary details such as category, test centres, institutions, etc.
• Pay the fee and take a printout of the complete application form and the payment receipt.

SET Exam Pattern 2025

SET is a computer-based test that has four main sections:

• General English
• Quantitative
• General Awareness
• Analytical and Logical Reasoning

There will be 60 questions in SET 2025 and each question carries one mark. Check below the details of the SET exam pattern:

SET 2025 Selection Process

Selection Procedure Components:

• Step 1 : Shortlisting Based on Entrance Exam Scores
• Step 2: Personal Interview(PI)

*Attending all the components of the selection process is mandatory.

The final Merit List will be declared on the following parameters:

• SET Exam Scores (70%)
• PI performance (30%)

As envisioned in the NEP 2020, Symbiosis International University (SIU) has announced the four-year degree program with several entry and exit possibilities.

Re-entry into the program: Provides the opportunity to re-enter within three years of leaving, with seven years serving as the longest time allowed to finish the program.
