Staff Selection Commission (Combined Graduate Level) Tier I Examination 2015 - Morning Shift
The pattern of the Staff Selection Commission (Combined Graduate Level) Tier I Examination-2015 conducted on August 09, 2015 was similar to the one conducted last year though the difficulty level of the paper has decreased marginally. The morning slot (10:00 a.m. to 12 noon) had at least 12 sets, with a single unique question paper. The students reported that a few questions were repeated from last yearâs actual paper.

Note: Due to the slight increase in the difficulty level of the question paper in the afternoon slot, we can expect the overall cut-off to be nearer to the lower limit of the expected cut-offs.
General Intelligence and Reasoning
In this section, questions were from an array of topics and most of them had a moderate level of difficulty. As compared to last year, the Visual Reasoning questions were easier and the options could easily be negated to reach the correct answer. A student could have easily attempted approximately 34 questions in this section.

This section was on the tougher side this time. As usual, maximum questions were from Science section (17 in all), of moderate to high difficulty level. Geography was quantitatively second in number, having 8 questions. Economics, History and Polity were on almost equal footage having around 5 questions in every section. There were 2 questions each from Ecology and Computer. There were some tricky questions, especially in Science and Economics section.

The section was dominated by Vocabulary and Grammar questions. In Vocabulary, there were questions on Antonyms, Synonyms, One word Substitution, Sentence Correction and Fill in the Blanks. In Grammar, there were questions of Sentence Correction, Spot the Error and Fill in the Blanks. There were 2 Reading Comprehension Passages with 5 questions each. A student could have easily attempted approximately 35 questions in this section.
