The Staff Selection Commission (Combined Higher Secondary Level) Exam (morning slot), conducted on November 15, 2015, saw certain changes as compared to the previous year’s papers. Overall, the difficulty level of the paper ranged from easy to moderate but it was slightly easier than last year’s paper. The morning slot saw indefinite number of sets with 1 unique question paper. All sections, except English Language, were available bilingually, that is, in both English and Hindi. Each question was followed by 4 options. There was a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

This section comprised questions from a variety of areas. A major part of the section was based on Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and Data Interpretation. For one question in Data Interpretation (Bar Graph), the answer options were not matching. The paper also had questions from Ratio, Profit & Loss, Averages, Time-Speed-Distance, Time & Work and Percentages.

This section had majority of questions which were of easy to moderate level of difficulty. Science section had maximum questions as usual, totalling 18 in all. Barring Biology section, rest of the sections was having questions that were direct and easy. Next big section was Miscellaneous GK having 7 questions in all, rest of the sections like, Geography , Polity and Economics saw almost equal distribution of questions, around 4 each section. This section was straight and had very few problematic questions in all.Â
