ISB Admissions 2025: Important Dates & Deadlines
The Indian School of Business (ISB) is renowned as one of Asia’s top management institutes. Their Post Graduate Programme (PGP) is hugely popular for blending rigorous academics with practical industry exposure. With the admissions cycle for the PGP 2025-26 batch opening soon, aspirants from across India and the world will compete for limited seats through multiple rounds. As securing a place amidst fierce competition requires meticulous preparation, it is vital to be aware of all key dates and deadlines in the selection process.
This comprehensive blog acts as an essential guide for all candidates targeting ISB admission in 2025.Â
Admission Timelines and Rounds
ISB invites applications through three rounds every year for its PGP and Early Entry options.
- Candidates can start their application on ISB’s online portal almost a year in advance.Â
- They are advised to submit all required test scores, recommendations, and other details well before the above deadlines to avoid last-minute hassles. Late applications may not be accepted if seats get filled in earlier ISB admission rounds.Â
- Once ISB receives the applications, qualified candidates are shortlisted for the personal interview round conducted across various Indian cities.
- After the interviews conclude, ISB announces final admission decisions in batches through each round.
- Candidates receive offers via email, specifying the last date for fee payment and confirmation.
The following table summarises ISB application rounds for 2025:Â

Eligibility and Admission Process
Â
To enter ISB’s PGP and Early Entry Option batch of 2025, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements:
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, with adequate grades, completed by a recognised university. Though a graduate degree in any discipline is preferred, a technology, engineering, or science background is preferred.
- Candidates need to write either the GMAT or the GRE. The median scores for ISB’s incoming PGP class have been around 710 for the GMAT and 326 for the GRE over recent years. However, the final cutoff applied for shortlisting varies across admission cycles.
- To be eligible for the full-time PGP, applicants need a minimum of 24 months of full-time post-qualification work experience as of April 8, 2024. Candidates with relevant managerial experience are given more preference.
- Under the Early Entry option, those with just 15-24 months of work experience can get conditional admission to ISB.Â
Do note that merely meeting the criteria does not guarantee selection, as ISB shortlists candidates based on various qualitative parameters in the application as well.
