The UPSC Admit Card 2021 will be soon released on the official website of UPSC. the UPSC Prelims 2021 Admit Card was released on 16th September 2021, i.e., almost three weeks before the Prelims Exam that was conducted on October 10, 2021. IAS Admit Card for the Mains 2021 will be released approximately three weeks before the exam on the official website of UPSC. As UPSC Mains 2021 is scheduled to be conducted from 7th January 2022 onwards. So, the IAS Admit Card 2021 may released by 17th December 2021.

UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2021 Exam - UPSC Admit Card

UPSC will soon release the hall tickets for UPSC Mains Exam 2021. The UPSC Prelims Exam was conducted on October 10th, 2021. The details for both the papers of UPSC are given below:

  • Date of Examination: October 10th, 2021

  • Paper 1: 09.30 to 11.30 A.M.

  • Paper 2: 02.30 to 04.30 P.M.

  • Date of IAS Mains 2021: 7th January 2022

  • Candidates should bring a black ballpoint pen to the examination hall to mark the answers in the OMR sheet. Answers other than those that are marked in black ballpoint ink will not be evaluated.

  • You should enter the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

How to download the UPSC Admit Card?

Admit cards are available on the official website of UPSC. You will need your Registration ID to download the admit card. Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to download the UPSC Admit Card:

  • Visit the official website - https://upsconline.nic.in 

  • Click on e-Admit Cards.

  • Then Click on e-Admit Cards for various examinations of UPSC 

  • Read the instructions and click on Yes 

  • Next, Click on By Registration ID. Enter your Registration ID.

  • Download your UPSC Admit Card and take a printout for further reference

Important Instructions For UPSC Admit Card

Please note the following important instructions for UPSC Admit Card 2021:

  • Candidates should check the e-Admit Card downloaded from the website carefully. If there are any discrepancies, bring them to the notice of UPSC immediately.
  • Make sure you mention your registration ID, name, roll number and the examination detail in all correspondences with the UPSC.
  • In order to ensure a smooth entry into the examination hall in each session, bring the printed copy of the e-admit card along with the original photo identity card. You should also preserve the printed copy of the admit card till the declaration of the final result of the Civil Services Examination, 2021.
  • It is your responsibility to keep your admit card in safe custody. In the event of any other person using this e-Admit Card, the onus to prove that you have not used the service of any impersonator lies on you.
  • It should be noted that any discrepancy in filling the details in the OMR answer sheet especially concerning roll number and test booklet series code will render the answer sheet liable for rejection.
  • The entry into the Examination Venue will be closed 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the Examination. It means that the entry will close at 09:20 A.M. for the Forenoon Session and at 02:20 P.M. for the Afternoon Session. No candidate will be allowed into the Examination Venue after closure of the entry.
  • Candidates should enter at least 30 minutes before to ensure the frisking exercise be taken smoothly.
  • Candidates will be allowed to enter only at the exam venue written on their hall ticket.
  • Read the instructions written in the e-admit card carefully before appearing for the exam.
  • Candidates should not be in possession of or using, any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager, or any electronic equipment, or programmable device, or storage media like pen drive, smartwatches, etc., or camera, or Bluetooth devices, or any other equipment, or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action, including a ban from future Examinations.
  • Normal wrist watches are allowed inside the examination hall provided that they are not fitted with any other electronic device such as a calculator or any other electronic device.
  • There will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in both the question papers of the Examination. 1/3rd marks of the total allocated marks for each question will be deducted for incorrect answers.
  • Please do not bring any valuables/costly items and bags to the Examination Venue. Safekeeping of the valuables will not be the responsibility of the commission. The Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
  • If you do not have a clear photograph on the admit card, bring a photo-identify-proof and two passport-size photographs (one for each Session) for appearing in the Examination along with an undertaking.
  • Wearing of mask/face cover is mandatory for all candidates. Candidates without mask/face cover will not be allowed entry into the Venue.
  • The candidates will have to remove the mask for verification, wherever required.
  • Candidates can carry a small bottle of transparent hand sanitizer in the exam premises.
  • Candidates need to adhere to all the social distancing norms as prescribed by the government,
  • E-admit cards for their own scribes will be issued separately by the commission. Candidates, who have opted for their own scribe, may download the admit card of scribes as well. Entry without such an admit card will not be allowed.
