Here's a brief introduction about all these examinations:

Civil Services Examination

UPSC CSE is the most famous exam conducted by the UPSC, often also called the IAS exam. However, this exam is conducted for recruitment into various posts such as IAS, IPS, IFS, and other allied posts. 

Engineering Services Examination

Indian Engineering Services or IESor UPSC Engineering Services Exam is the recruitment exam for engineering background graduates that meets the technical and managerial functions of the Government of India.

Combined Medical Services Examination

The combined medical services examination is conducted by the UPSC for recruiting medical officers. These officers are posted in various organizations functioning under the Government of India like Indian Railways, the Indian Ordnance Factories, etc.

Combined Defence Services Examination

Conducted twice a year, CDS or Combined Defence Services Examination is held by UPSC to recruit candidates into the Indian Air Force Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy, and Officers Training.

National Defence Academy Examination

Also held twice a year, NDA examination is held to recruit candidates into the National Defence Academy. The eligibility for this examination is (10+2), hence 12th pass students can also sit for this exam.

Naval Academy Examination

UPSC conducts Indian Naval Academy Examination for the admission to Indian Naval Academy (INA) as graduate officer-trainees of the Indian Navy. This exam is also conducted twice in every year. 

Special Class Railway Apprentice

The SCRA is a special exam conducted by UPSC for 10+2 students who wish to pursue Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. The candidates selected through this exam are admitted into the undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineer in Jamalpur,

Indian Forest Service Examination

The prelims exam for Indian Forest Service Examination is conducted along with the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Hence, the eligibility criteria as well as syllabus for Prelims is pretty much the same for the both these exams. The Mains Exam is conducted separately. 

Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Indian Economic Service Examination to recruit candidates for The Indian Economic Service (IES), which is one of the administrative civil services under Grade ‘A’ of the Central Civil Services

Combined Geoscientist and Geologist Examination

The UPSC conducts the exam of geoscientists and geologist for recruitment to the post of Geophysicist, Geologist, and Chemical Group ‘A’ in GSI and Junior Hydro-geologist (Scientist Group ‘B’) and Central Ground Water Board of Group ‘A’.

Central Armed Police Forces(Assistant Commandant) Examination

The candidates selected through Central Armed Police Forces are recruited as Assistant Commandants in the Central Armed Police that consists of Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Indo-Tibetian Border Police (ITBP).
