Established in 1963, the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is a national institution dedicated to imparting knowledge about international business and trade. The Institute operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and was granted the status of "Deemed to be University" in 2002.
