NMAT is a computer-adaptive online test conducted by GMAC for admission to an MBA program at various reputed B-schools in India. The following is an overview of NMAT eligibility criteria 2025:

NMAT Eligibility - Educational Qualification

Applicants for NMAT 2025 must have a certificate of classes 10th/12th and graduation or equivalent from the recognized board/institution.

Candidates must get the following minimum percentage of marks in their graduation:

• In the case of applicants from the General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories, 50% or its equivalent grade is required.
• In the case of candidates from the SC/ST categories, 45% or equivalent is required.

Candidates who are currently in their final year of graduation meet the NMAT eligibility to take the exam. However, their admission will be considered provisional until they submit the required final mark sheet and certificate of graduation at the time of admission; otherwise, their admission will be revoked.

Also, candidates who have completed a professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) or are waiting for the result can also apply.

There is no such extensive reservation policy for candidates applying for NMAT 2025 exam. The eligibility criteria for NMAT By GMAC give equal consideration to each category. However, interested NMAT takers should keep an eye on the following:

• Individual colleges accepting NMAT scores set their reservation criteria for admission.
• These criteria often follow national reservation policies or might have additional quotas.
