The following below is how an ATS score is calculated using a unique formula:

  • Quantitative Aptitude - SA (Short Answers) - (Your QASA score - minimum score) / (maximum score - minimum score)*25
  • Quantitative Aptitude - MCQ - (Your QA-MCQ score - minimum score) / (maximum score - minimum score)*25
  • Verbal Ability - (Your VARC score - minimum score ) / (maximum score - minimum score)*50

Minimum ATS Score Needed for Each IPMAT Selection

The minimum ATS score needed to get selected for the IPMAT changes each year. However, based on the information we have gathered, the minimum ATS score required is usually decided on the difficulty level of the exam and the candidate applying for it. To sum it up, if you fetch a score of 300+, it is considered a high score and has a chance of being called to attend the interview round. So instead of aiming just for the minimum score, try getting a score of 300+ to secure your chances of being invited to the interview stage.
